About 20 km with 0.75 miles on pavement in the park and approximately 11 miles on the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Boy Scouts Trail including one possible large creek crossing depending on rain.  There are about 2000 vertical feet of climbing in the race, and the two longest climbs are around 400 vertical feet.

The weather at Petit Jean State Park in April is typically warm with highs in the 60s- 70s and lows in the 40s. The race will go on rain or shine.
